2024 Breast Health Screening Days February 21, 2024

Our 2024 Breast Health Screening Day dates are set! 200 women will have the opportunity to sign up for a mammogram again this year. There will be three Saturday dates (April 20, July 20 and October 19) with spots for 60 women at each event. An additional 20 spots will be offered during the week on normal mammogram days and hours to give the opportunity to those who cannot make a Saturday event. Lab work and breast exams will not be offered based on provider feedback and lack of follow-up after the labs.

Breast Health Screening Days are truly our TWC mission in action, and volunteering is an easy and inspiring way to experience the impact of our support. The women who come to BHSD are so appreciative and thankful for being able to have this important screening. We encourage all TWC members to volunteer for at least one BHSD so you are able to see our mission in action. When you sign up, you will choose to do one of six positions:

  • Greeter at the downstairs entrance desk
  • Elevator Greeter on the 3rd floor
  • Registration Desk to Check-in
  • Runners to take women to the mammogram changing room
  • Hall Helper directs women to the hospitality table after mammogram is complete
  • Back-up/Substitute to be on call in the event someone signed up for one of the other positions is unable to attend.
