Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital's extensive art collection is part of the healing environment that the hospital provides to our patients, staff and community.
Throughout the hospital, you’ll see permanent and rotating installations of original artwork by regional artists. We invite you to explore these exhibits, and hope that they offer respite and reflection.
If you are interested in sharing your work through a special exhibition at the hospital, we invite you to submit your materials for consideration.
Special Exhibitions: February 10 - April 6, 2026
You'll find special, rotating exhibitions of original artwork by local and regional artists on the second floor, lab hallway, and cancer hallway. If you are moved by any of these pieces, they are available for purchase by contacting the artist using the links and information provided with their photos.
