Patient Support

Patient Support - Rounding on hosptial inpatients to increase the patient's confidence in the quality of care and services provided.  Enable the patient to feel at ease in making commendations or requests or in expressing concerns or complaints.  Communicate compliments or concerns to appropriate staff for real time resolution by staff.

Caregiver Partner - Offers emotional support to family caregivers in a non-judgmental, sensitive and caring manner.  Making a connection with the family caregiver so the caregiver feels supported.  Encourage the use of the Caregiver Center.

Infusion Center - Located in the Phillips Cancer Center supplying support to patients and staff.  Restocking nourishment center and blanket warmer.  Helping patients with lunch menu and passing out lunch trays (morning shift).  Responding to simple requests for a blanket or nourishment item.  Visiting with patients offering friendly conversation.

Patient Escort - Located in the hospital Imaging department and the Outpatient Care Center Mammography department.  Greeting patients and escorting them to the treatment area while offering light friendly conversation and a listening ear.
